Talk about lucky. I can't even imagine the level of code brown this person's underwear hit.
Driver skids out on highway and ends up with 1/2 his car hanging 75 feet above a river.

Hey JEM!!! Long time no see! You should stop by the Oppo chat sometime. It's at kiwiirc.com (or any IRC client on the freenode server). Room is #oppocah. A lot of us from the old CAH games pop in and out. ^_^

Last year a woman managed to drive off a bridge at that height in my city. There's a somewhat tight left-right before the bridge, where people spin out all the time. Well, up until last winter, the city wasn't keeping snow off the bridges, just plowing it up against the guardrail. Her car hit the snow ramp and fell onto the ice 70-odd feet below. She managed to get out with non-life-threatening injuries, but the car went through the ice. Her insurance company sued the city for the $25 grand it cost to find and recover the car... It's a big river that flows out into the middle of nowhere, and they couldn't start looking until the ice melted a few months later. The city's been a lot more careful about keeping the bridges clear of snow since then...
